abstract The present invention provides a female mold (3) for molding a mold outer peripheral portion, and a plurality of hollow-shaped convex portions (2a). And a fluid inlet passage 7 through which the fluid discharge port 6 is opened at the bottom of the partition forming groove portion 2b of the male mold 2 and reaches the fluid discharge port 6 from the outside. In the process of extruding the metal hollow mold member 1 using the formed extrusion die D1, the metal to be molded is intermittently discharged from the fluid discharge port 5 with a fluid incompatible with the molten metal of the extrusion material. A fluid is put into the partition wall thickness part of a hollow shape member, and a communication hole is formed in the partition wall of a metal hollow shape member by the mold | hole missing liquid. Thereby, the metal hollow material provided with the some hollow part continuous in the longitudinal direction can provide the manufacturing method which has a communication hole between adjacent hollow parts efficiently at low cost.
