abstract FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a speed converting gear box of a device for rolling a landing having a safety device, which is a macro adjusting gear set, a micro adjusting gear set, a step gear set, a clutch. A transmission set and a speed conversion gearbox provided with the some transmission shaft are provided. When power is transmitted to the transmission shaft rolling the landing, the fine adjustment gear set and the macro adjustment gear set mounted pivotally on the transmission shaft rolling the landing are driven by the transmission gear. On the other hand, gears with different tooth ratios will be selected to indirectly transfer power to the clutch transmission set. A clutch slide plate is used to control the engagement with the wheel with any value of the step gear set so that power transfer is made while the increase or decrease speed is selected. Thus, the power required to make the transformation applied to the circular knitting device is transmitted to the transmission shaft pulling the landing through the safety device. Thus, the weight of the landing and the distance of the strip are stabilized to avoid pulling of the unusual landing.
