titleOfInvention | Bubble-jet type ink-jet printing head |
abstract | A bubble jet ink jet printing head is disclosed. The disclosed ink jet printing head is provided with a nozzle plate provided with a nozzle through which ink is discharged, a substrate supporting a nozzle plate and having a heater having a three-dimensional surface concave opposite to the nozzle, and provided on an upper surface of the substrate. And an ink chamber electrically connected to the heater to apply a current to the heater, an ink chamber filled with ink as a space formed between the bottom of the nozzle plate and the surface of the heater, and between the nozzle plate and the substrate so as to communicate with the ink chamber. And an ink supply flow path for supplying ink in the ink chamber. The heater may have a substantially hemispherical shape with a flange provided at its edge, and the ink supply flow passage may be formed to communicate with the entire circumference of the ink chamber. According to such a configuration, the expansion energy of the bubble generated from the surface of the heater is concentrated toward the nozzle to improve energy efficiency, and the back flow of ink is prevented by the bubble generated at the flange portion of the heater. In addition, after the ejection of the ink droplets, the ink can be quickly filled into the ink chamber, thereby increasing the ejection driving frequency. |
