The present invention provides hydroxy cooker bituril and derivatives thereof, methods for their preparation, and uses thereof. The hydroxy cucurbituril and derivatives thereof have a wide range of application because the functional groups can be easily introduced depending on the use. In addition, the synthesis of the hydroxy cucurbituril according to the present invention is very easy to industrially mass production. The hydroxy cucurbituril and its derivatives can be usefully used for the recognition of bioactive substances in vivo such as acetylcholine, and can be used as chemical reaction sites because they can control solubility in organic solvents, and also produce ion-selective electrode thin films. It is easy to develop into an ion sensor that can be directly applied to clinical analysis or detection of environmental pollutants. |
