A plasma display device that prevents deterioration of the phosphor layer and a manufacturing method capable of forming a phosphor layer stably without clogging a nozzle, wherein at least one of the phosphor layers has zero or positive charge and a crystal structure of Zn 2. A manufacturing method of forming a green phosphor layer by applying a green phosphor ink containing a green phosphor of SiO 4 : Mn and having a green phosphor ink as a main component to a discharge cell through a nozzle. The crystal structure coated with an oxide having a charge of Zn 2 SiO 4 : Mn phosphor powder, or the crystal structure with a negative charge Zn 2 SiO 4 : Mn phosphor powder was pulverized so as to break the crystal plane to positive charge It consists of one phosphor powder. |
