abstract The present invention discloses a differential charge pump and method, and a phase locked loop and method using the same. The pump inputs a first driver to generate a first output signal by inputting a first input signal, a second driver to generate a second output signal by inputting a second input signal, and inputs an inverted signal of the second input signal. A third driver for generating a third output signal having the same voltage level as the first output signal, a third driver for generating a fourth output signal having the same voltage level as the second output signal by inputting an inverted signal of the first input signal; 4 driver, a first transistor having a gate connected to the first bias voltage and a source to which the first output signal is applied, and a drain connected to the first differential charge pump output signal, and a gate and a second output signal connected to the first bias voltage are applied. A second transistor having a source and a drain connected to the second differential charge pump output signal, a gate connected to the second bias voltage, a source to which the third output signal is applied, and a first differential charge pump output It is composed of a third transistor, and a fourth transistor having a drain connected to the source and a second differential charge pump output signal to be applied to the gate and the fourth output signal connected to the second bias voltage having a drain connected to the call. Therefore, the switching noise generated at the transition of the input signals is reduced, thereby improving the operating performance.
