The present invention relates to methods and apparatus for treating vaginal disease via current or electric field therapy. The present invention uses currents induced by inflow or external electric fields to manipulate the movement of ions across the cell membrane and to change the concentration of ions. The present invention is useful for, for example, alleviating cancer and cardiovascular disease and stress effects. |
