| abstract |
A pair of legs located on a substantially liquid impermeable outer cover, a liquid permeable bodyside liner, an absorbent positioned between the outer cover and the bodyside liner, and laterally opposite side edges of the article in at least an intermediate region of the absorbent article. A disposable absorbent article is provided that includes an elastic material. The outer cover can be configured to provide a substantially permanent deformation of at least about 10% when subjected to a tensile force of 100 gmf per inch wide (per 2.54 cm) according to the material stretching and strain tensile tests described herein. Permanent deformation of the outer cover in use can result in articles having a substantially permanent leg elastic deformation of at least about 3% when subjected to the product deformation test described herein. |
