A thermosiphon reactor and a hydrogen generator having the same are disclosed. The hydrogen generator having the disclosed thermosiphon reactor includes a housing, a reaction raw material container disposed in the housing, a reactor tube which is connected to the reaction raw material container and receives a reaction raw material from the reaction raw material container to generate a catalytic reaction. And a porous catalyst layer disposed in the reactor tube in contact with the reaction raw material to promote gas generation, and a product container connected to the reactor tube to collect reaction products generated in the reactor tube, A convection hall is formed in the reactor tube to penetrate the reactor tube in the longitudinal direction to discharge the reaction product.n n n Accordingly, the disclosed thermal siphon reactor and the hydrogen generator having the same have a self-operating ability, can reduce operating costs, and reduce installation space. |
