abstract The present invention provides a method for processing one-to-many multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) for use in a wireless communication system. The method adds one command to the message when sending one message used to convey the one-to-many MBMS information over a dedicated channel, so that the receiving end releases a service resource with the command. The present invention also provides that when the receiving end is in one cell dedicated state (CELL_DCH), the receiving end receives one message for transmitting the information of the one-to-many MBMS through the one-to-many control channel (MCCH) of the MBMS. And the message includes an instruction used to release a service resource.
