abstract | A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a negative electrode, a positive electrode capable of occluding and releasing lithium ions, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, which has a high charge capacity and excellent characteristics over a long period of time, and particularly a non-aqueous system having excellent discharge capacity retention rate. An electrolyte secondary battery is obtained. In the non-aqueous electrolytic solution, (i) a compound represented by the following general formula (I), a saturated cyclic carbonate, (ii) a compound represented by the following general formula (II), and (iii) the following general formula (III- At least any one of the compounds represented by 1) is contained.n n n n n n n n (In said Formula (I), n represents an integer greater than or equal to 3, and m represents an integer greater than or equal to 1. However, the sum of n and m is 5 or more. Moreover, one part or all hydrogen atoms are a fluorine atom.
