| abstract | The present invention relates to a method and system for establishing a PoC session for a PTT over Cellular (PoC) client to handle an accident or crisis situation. To this end, in the present invention, when a PoC client performing an OMA PoC multimedia call service requests to open a PoC session including a Crisis Handling request, the PoC server authenticates whether the PoC client can handle a crisis, and the corresponding PoC session. Incoming PoC Session Barring such as simultaneous multiple PoC session handling settings and maximum number of Simultaneous PoC Sessions or incoming PoC session blocking set on the Home PoC server of participating clients invited to the session. It is possible to change the settings of the system as necessary to provide a method of ensuring the establishment of a PoC session for crisis management. |
