abstract The filter for dyeing machine 20 comprises at least one blade 3 with a scraping edge 12 and a filter plate 5 having a hole through which the salt solution penetrates and which is arranged to cross the flow path for the salt solution in the dyeing machine. And at least one blade (3) that is blade-mounted relative to the plate to move and carry the scraping edge across the hole in the plate, the scraping edge acting across the hole such that the lint penetrates the hole. Disassemble the lint trapped by the plate until it is small enough to do. The plate may be tubular and has a plurality of blades radially mounted to a rotatable shaft 2 coaxial to the plate. The plate and blade may be housed in a vessel 15 having an inlet 1 and an outlet 9 for connecting the filter in the salt flow path of the dyeing machine.
