Provided are stable controlled release formulations for oral administration of vitamin D compounds. The formulation is prepared by incorporating one or more vitamin D compounds into a solid or semisolid mixture of waxy substances. Oral dosage forms can be prepared by melt-mixing the ingredients described herein and then filling the formulation into gelatin capsules. |
