New Fishid Derivative Antibiotic Peptides and Uses thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to novel derivatives that reduce hydrophobicity and increase both affinity by substituting the 10th valine (Val) residue with lysine based on the structure of the antimicrobial peptide pisid. The new antimicrobial peptides of the present invention exhibit excellent antimicrobial activity and low cytotoxicity, and thus can be usefully used as antibiotics safe for humans. |
