| abstract | The present invention relates to a mobile vehicle number automatic recognition system and an automatic recognition method. According to the present invention, the automatic vehicle number automatic recognition system operates the laser unit, the lighting unit, and the camera unit according to the recognition of the external sensor. The automatic vehicle number automatic recognition system receives a video signal from the camera unit and corrects the video signal. The mobile vehicle number automatic recognition system determines whether there is a license plate signal in the image signal by using the corrected image signal, and turns off the lighting unit when there is a license plate signal. The automatic vehicle number automatic recognition system extracts the license plate image signal region from the image signal and recognizes the license plate character in the license plate image signal region. The mobile vehicle number automatic recognition system stores and outputs the recognized license plate letter. As a result, by integrating all the hardware into one single system, it is possible to solve a problem that cannot be applied in the existing design, such as in a place where a vehicle cannot be entered, and to obtain a high quality image because it must be small and light.
