abstract |
An air separation method in which a superheated air stream is introduced into a mass transfer contact zone associated with a high pressure column of an air separation device. The krypton and xenon-rich liquid are formed by washing krypton and xenon from the superheated air stream introduced into the mass transfer contact zone. Krypton and xenon-rich liquids are stripped in a stripping column to produce a krypton-xenon-rich bottom liquid. A krypton-xenon-rich stream consisting of krypton-xenon-rich bottom liquid from the stripping column is produced for further purification. |
