The present invention relates to a motor and an optical disk drive using the same, and more particularly, to a motor and an optical disk drive using the same in which the coupling structure between the rotor and the stator is improved. The motor according to the present invention is coupled to a shaft, a sleeve for rotatably supporting the shaft, an outer circumferential surface of the sleeve, a stator extending outwardly in the outer diameter direction of the sleeve, and fastened to an outer circumferential surface of the sleeve at the bottom of the stator, and supporting the stator. It is characterized by including a base plate. |
