abstract |
A transgenic cat expressing a red fluorescent protein and a production method thereof are disclosed. The use of the method for producing a transgenic cat expressing a red fluorescent protein according to the present invention is useful for producing a genetically designed "modified pet" as well as producing a cat into which a red fluorescent protein gene has been introduced with high efficiency . Also, the transgenic cat expressing the red fluorescent protein according to the present invention can be usefully used as a clinical model for treating human diseases. The present invention also relates to a transgenic cat expressing a red fluorescent protein produced by the above method and a progeny thereof. The present invention also relates to a cell isolated from a transgenic cat expressing a red fluorescent protein and its progeny. |
