abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for preparing ethylene and propylene, wherein the hydrocarbon mixture is catalytically catalytically decomposed to produce ethylene and propylene, wherein the hydrocarbon mixture is C5 raffinate and zeolite ZSM-5 is used as the catalyst. ZSM-5 having an optimal Si / Al atomic ratio which maximizes the ethylene and propylene yield by providing an alkali treatment of zeolite ZSM-5 to increase the specific surface area and pore volume by alkali treatment. 5 can be used to provide a method for producing ethylene and propylene that can maximize the production of ethylene and propylene. |
