The present invention relates to a laundry shading method using certain blue or purple bis-azo-dyes, alone or in combination with photocatalysts. A further aspect of the present invention is a composition comprising at least one photocatalyst and at least one specific bis azo-dye. The composition is particularly useful for shading textiles during washing. Further aspects of the present invention are detergent compositions, fabric softener compositions, and novel blue or purple bisazo-dyes containing these dyes or mixtures of these dyes with photocatalysts. |
