Disclosed are a high density artificial leather having excellent mechanical strength and aesthetics, and a method of manufacturing the same. The artificial leather of the present invention includes a nonwoven fabric comprising an ultrafine fiber having a single yarn fineness of 0.001 to 0.3 denier and an elastic polymer impregnated in the nonwoven fabric, wherein the nonwoven fabric has an apparent density of 0.3 g / cm 3 or more. |
