The present invention relates in particular to the use of certain peptides in compositions which can be used in hair and skin cosmetics, and to such peptide-containing compositions. In particular, the invention relates to the use of said peptides as active ingredients for the inhibition or treatment of dandruff, which is not accumulated in the body or the environment. In addition, the present invention relates to the preparation of such compositions, the peptides used per se, the preparation thereof and the coding of nucleotide sequences for the peptides, the distribution system for the peptides, and screening methods for identifying suitable additional peptides. |
