This disclosure features a fabric comprising polymeric fibers and an antimicrobial system. The antimicrobial system includes a metal ion sequestering agent and an agent that binds the sequestering agent on the surface of at least a part of the polymer fiber. In some implementations, at least some of the sequestering agents remain on the polymer fiber-surface after 50 cycles of washing. |
