| abstract | A device (1) for controlled release of a main fluid according to the invention comprises at least one passage (13) for the main fluid. The at least one passageway includes at least one inlet (11) for the main fluid and at least one outlet (15) for the main fluid. One or more outlets for the main fluid may be blocked by the movable block 16, which is additionally included in the device, and the movable block is operable alternately between the first and second positions. When positioned in the second position, the movable block closes one or more outlets for the main fluid. The device according to the invention further comprises at least one inlet (12) for the driving fluid. In response to the actuation fluid supply through the at least one inlet for the actuation fluid, the actuation block moves from the first position toward the second position. A method of operating release of a main fluid from a passageway includes supplying a drive fluid to urge the movable block toward a second position. |
