abstract The present specification discloses a method for manufacturing a polarizer wherein a boronic acid derivative or a borinic acid derivative is added to one or more steps among a swelling step, a dyeing step, a crosslinking step and a washing step. According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, a polarizer can be manufactured in a way that undergoes a minimal change in transmissivity and polarization, which produces excellent moisture and heat resistant stability even after being left in high temperature and high humidity, and that undergoes minimal contraction after a decrease in moisture content due to the excellent water resistance of the polarizer.
