abstract | The present invention relates to a SNP marker for predicting hypertension in Korean and, more specifically, to a SNP marker for predicting or diagnosing a risk of hypertension in Korean, which comprises: a 501^th base of each sequence on a position of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP); and at least one polynucleotide or a complementary polynucleotide thereof. According to the present invention, genetic mutation of five SNPs from six SNPs, which are rs11066280 (C12orf51), rs12229654 and rs3782889 (MYL2), rs2072134 (OAS3), rs2093395 (TREML2), and rs17249754 (ATP2B1), can be used as a marker for predicting a risk of hypertension in male Korean. |
