The present invention relates to a synthetic T cell receptor (TCR) having an antigen specificity for the HLA-A2-restricted epitope of HPV 16 E7, E7 11-19 . Relevant polypeptides and proteins, as well as related nucleic acids, recombinant expression vectors, host cells and cell populations are also provided. Antibodies relating to the TCR of the invention, or antigen-binding portions thereof, and pharmaceutical compositions are also provided. Also disclosed are methods of detecting the presence of a disease in a mammal, and methods of treating or preventing disease in a mammal, wherein said disease is cancer, an HPV 16 infection, or an HPV-positive precursor. |
