abstract The dishwasher of the present invention comprises: a cabinet; A tub providing a cleaning space therein; A door rotatably mounted in front of the tub; An exhaust duct provided in the door for discharging the air inside the tub to the outside; A suction duct connected to the discharge duct for sucking air in the tub and blowing air into the discharge duct; A cover for selectively opening and closing the suction port provided at the inlet of the suction duct; And a foreign matter inflow preventing chamber which is provided below the inlet and is formed so that the bottom surface is inclined downward toward the back side of the door to prevent foreign matter from flowing into the inlet. According to the dishwasher of the present invention, only air is introduced into the suction duct, water is prevented from flowing into the suction duct, and water and foreign substances are prevented from accumulating on the bottom of the suction duct.
