Provides a stable controlled release formulation for oral administration of a vitamin D compound. The formulations are prepared by incorporating one or more vitamin D compounds into a solid or semi-solid mixture of waxy materials. Oral dosage forms may be prepared by melt-mixing the ingredients described herein and then filling the formulation into a gelatin capsule. |
