It is an object of the present invention to provide a liquid crystal composition comprising a polymerizable liquid crystal compound which is excellent in storage stability at the time of dissolving in a solvent and can suppress the occurrence of alignment defects of the liquid crystal compound . Another object of the present invention is to provide a process for easily obtaining such a liquid crystal composition.
