According to an aspect of the present invention, a method for predicting ballistic performance of an aluminum composite is provided. The method for predicting ballistic performance of the aluminum composite includes: disposing a specimen including the aluminum composite in a dynamic compression test apparatus; Measuring a dynamic compressive strength (F) value using the dynamic compression testing apparatus; Calculating a dynamic shock absorbed energy (E) value from the dynamic compressive strength (F) value; And predicting the ballistic performance of the aluminum composite by calculating a penetration depth (D) from the calculated dynamic shock absorption energy (E) using Equation 1 below.
