| abstract |
A sunscreen composition comprising a cerium oxide (CeO 2 ) flake and an organic sunscreen having a hexagonal plate shape is disclosed. Cerium oxide having a hexagonal plate shape can be arranged to form a dense layer when a sunscreen composition including the same is applied to the skin thinly, so that the gap for penetration of the ultraviolet rays into the skin is minimized, thereby scattering and reflecting ultraviolet rays. . In this case, the organic UV blocker absorbs the scattered and reflected UV rays, thereby synergistically blocking the UV rays. |
