| abstract | The present invention relates to the thermal disposal of offgases having at least two different carbon monoxide contents (CO content) generated in synthesis gas production and/or synthesis gas processing, in particular of high temperature synthesis gas and cryogenic low temperature carbon monoxide. An elevated flaring system in a syngas production plant for simultaneous flaring or combustion.
