titleOfInvention | Height adjustment system for vacuum cleaner |
abstract | The height adjusting system for an upright vacuum cleaner includes a cam member having a cam surface. The cam member is installed in the base and includes a roller to smoothly move the cam member in the base. The rollers slide in the channel inside the base. The notch houses elastically deformable indexing means which are formed in the side walls of the channel and position and secure the cam follower at discrete points along the cam surface. The second height adjusting means includes a shelf located in the housing attached to the handle. When the handle of the vacuum cleaner rotates from the use position to the upright position, the shelf of the housing moves the finger that pushes the pedestal plate attached to the axle connected to the front wheel of the vacuum cleaner. When the axle moves in this way, the front wheel rotates downwards, so that the rotating brush rises above the floor surface and the floor surface to be cleaned is not damaged while the vacuum cleaner is fixed. |
