titleOfInvention Liquid crystal display
abstract The present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device which is provided with a liquid crystal alignment layer which is very excellent in adhesion to a glass substrate and has little dependence of display characteristics on viewing angle. The present invention provides a pair of substrates comprising a mixture of a polyamide (A) containing a siloxane component unit and a polymer (B) having a property in which the liquid crystal is aligned so that the major axis direction of the liquid crystal molecules projected onto the surface of the substrate is different from the friction direction. A liquid crystal display comprising a liquid crystal layer between a pair of substrates each comprising a transparent electrode having an alignment layer arranged to face each other on a substrate, characterized in that it is used as an alignment layer of at least one opposing surface above.
