The present invention relates to compounds of the formula I (see formula (I)) or the pharmaceutically active acid addition salts thereof. It has been found that the compounds present have Asp2 inhibitory activity (β-secretase, BACE 1 or memapsin-2) and therefore these compounds can be used for the treatment of diseases characterized by elevated levels of β-amyloid or β-amyloid deposits, in particular Alzheimer's disease. |
