The invention relates to a process for the preparation of pyrrolines of general formula (I) (See Formula) by catalytic hydrogenation of a nitroketone of general formula (II) (See Formula) using a transition metal catalyst and gaseous hydrogen to a high pressure in a solvent, optionally in the presence of at least one additive selected from Lewis acids, Bronstedt acids, compounds containing organic sulfur, organic or inorganic bases and drying agents, in which in formulas (I) and (II) B1, B2, B3, B4, X, R and T are as defined in the specification and a nitroketone of formula (II) to be used as an intermediate in the process according to the invention and as a pesticidal agent. |
