titleOfInvention PROCESS TO PREPARE UPPER ETHYLENE AND DERIVATIVES OF ETHYLENE.
abstract The present invention relates to a process for preparing ethylenamines of the formula NH2- (C2H4-NH-) pH, where p is at least 3, or derivatives thereof, where one or more -NH units may be present -C2H4-NH- as a cyclic ethylene urea unit, or between two units -NH-C2H4-NH- a carbonyl portion is present, reacting a functional ethanolamine compound, a functional amine compound, in the presence of an oxide releasing agent carbon, wherein the molar ratio of carbon oxide release agent to functional amine compound is at least 0.6 to 1.
