| abstract | A combustion chamber is placed under the water container of a water heater and is formed at least partially by a frame. A burner placed inside the combustion chamber and a fuel supply line is connected to the burner. A valve associated with the fuel supply line. A combustion chamber sensor is placed inside the combustion chamber and is adapted to detect an increase in the temperature indicative of an abnormality in the combustion chamber. A circuit connected to the sensor and the valve such that the circuit is activated to the valve to close the fuel to the burner in response to a temperature detected by the sensor. |
