abstract |
A coating composition is described which can be cured under the influence of ultraviolet light and which consists of a UV-curable binder, a photoinitiator and an accelerator consisting of a polycyclic condensation product of formaldehyde or acetaldehyde and an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diprimary 1,2 -diamin. The UV-curable binder is preferably an adduct containing at least one isocyanate group of (a) an acrylic or methacrylic hydroxy ester having from 5 to 20 carbon atoms and (b) a polyisocyanate having from 4-44 carbon atoms and from 2-4 isocyanate groups. |
