Disclosed is a 2 aminopyridine analog of formula (I) wherein in the 6-membered pyridine analog ring Y, Z and G are either N or a CR group and includes groups such as pyrimidine, pyrazine and pyridazine; and R1 is a 5-membered heterocyclic ring as depicted and D1 is S, O or N, D2 is N or CR, D3 is S, O or CR and includes groups such as thiazole, thiodiazole and oxazole . The other variables are as disclosed in the description. Also disclosed is a composition comprising a compound of formula (I) and the use of a compound of formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of insulin dependant diabetes or non-insulin dependant diabetes mellitus. |
