abstract The arrangement has at least one first energy generator using a regenerative energy source, preferably a wind power system (10) with a generator, and a second generator (32) for coupling to an internal combustion engine (30). The revolution rate and blade setting of the wind power generator can be controlled and there is an electromagnetic coupling (34) between the second generator and internal combustion engine. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of operational control of an electrical island network with at least one wind power system and the use of a synchronous generator as a network mimic for a mains inverter.
