Process for the preparation of 4H-3,1-benzoxazine derivatives of general formula I: (see formula) R 1 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom, Y represents an oxygen or sulfur atom, R 2 represents a phenyl radical substituted by a halogen radical alkenyl or haloalkenyloxy of up to 3 carbon atoms, with the exception of trifluoromethyl, or a methyl-substituted thienyl radical, R 2 may also have the meaning of a thienyl radical when R 1 is not hydrogen and if R 1 does not is hydrogen, and when R 1 is halogen, may have the meaning of a phenyl radical substituted by an alkyl of up to 3 carbon atoms, characterized in that an optionally substituted anthranilic acid of the general formula II: (see formula ) wherein R1 and Y have the meanings as in formula I are reacted with approximately stoichiometric amounts of a halogen of a carboxylic acid of general formula III: (see formula) ... |
