abstract 1. A procatalytic composition comprising a combination of a magnesium component, a titanium component, and an internal electron donor containing a substituted phenylene aromatic diester. 2. The procatalytic composition according to claim 1, wherein the substituted phenylene aromatic diester has the structure (I) where R-R are the same or different, each of R-R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a substituted hydrocarbyl group with 1-20 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted hydrocarbyl group a group with 1-20 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group with 1-20 carbon atoms, a heteroatom, and combinations thereof, and at least one of R-R is not hydrogen. 3. The procatalytic composition according to claim 2, wherein at least one of R-R is selected from the group consisting of a substituted hydrocarbyl group with 1-20 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted hydrocarbyl group with 1-20 carbon atoms, and combinations of these groups. The procatalytic composition according to claim 2, in which at least one of R-R is selected from the group comprising a substituted hydrocarbyl group with 1-20 carbon atoms, an unsubstituted hydrocarbyl group with 1-20 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group with 1-20 carbon atoms heteroatom and combinations of these groups. 5. The procatalytic composition according to claim 2, wherein R and R are the same or different, and each is selected from the group consisting of a C-C-alkyl group, a C-C-cycloalkyl group and a substituted C-C-cycloalkyl group.
