titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR PRODUCING MONO-CRYSTAL DIAMONDS OF WHITE COLOR |
abstract | 1. A method of manufacturing monocrystalline white diamonds having jewelry quality, comprising: (a) providing a substrate having a diamond grain with a predetermined size and a predetermined optical orientation deposited on the substrate, (b) placing the substrate with diamond grain in a chamber, in which chemical vapor deposition (CVD) can be carried out, (c) introducing hydrogen into the chamber, (d) creating conditions inside the chamber suitable for carrying out chemical vapor deposition, (e) starting the chemical vapor phase process the deposition in the chamber, (f) supplying a hydrocarbon gas containing carbon to the chamber (g) supplying a gas containing nitrogen and a gas containing diboran into the chamber, both of which are adapted to accelerate the growth rate of diamond on the substrate, (h) supplying an electric fields into the chamber for the formation of plasma near the substrate, thereby leading to the gradual growth of diamond on the substrate, (i) completion of the chemical vapor deposition process in the chamber, (j) cutting and removing unwanted carbon from the grown diamond, (k) cleaning and cutting of diamond, annealed at n preset temperature for a suitable period of time, (l) the final cutting of diamond, polishing and colorization. 2. A method for the production of single-crystal white diamond according to claim 1, characterized in that the gas containing nitrogen, in combination with the gas containing diboran, is supplied in an amount of from 0.0001% to 0.1% by volume of gas for growing diamond from diamond grain .3. A method for the production of single-crystal white diamond according to claim 1, characterized in that the gas containing nitrogen can be in the form of a mixture of nitrogen with hydrogen |
