FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: sample is treated with acetone, acetone extract is separated, evaporated and treated with color reagent - 0.5-1.0% hydroxydiphenylamine solution in sulfuric acid. Appearance of specific green color indicates the presence of propylene glycol dinitrate in the analyzed soil sample. Method is used for hazard substance detection in soil.
