abstract FIELD: stuffing shaft entries. SUBSTANCE: stuffing arrangement 1 has pin 2 of shaft 3 passed through fixed casing 4 with its inner space 5 charged with fluid medium, shaft 3 protruding from it. It also has drain chamber 7 open to surrounding atmosphere which is arranged around shaft 3 and is adjacent along pin 3 on either side with stuffing glands 6 and charged with fluid through at least one of stuffing glands 6. Drain chamber 7 is connected, in addition, with suction device 8. According to invention, fluid entering drain chamber 7 is sucked out and residue is discharged to surrounding atmosphere. EFFECT: reduced loading of surrounding atmosphere and improved efficiency of functional monitoring due to checking residue discharged into surrounding atmosphere. 12 cl, 1 dwg
