FIELD: medicine, microbiology, chemical-pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves biomass culturing, biomass concentrating, addition of protective medium for drying, lyophilization of frozen product, mixing with a preliminary sterilized filling agent. The latter is used as a protective substance and energy source (lactose) for growth of bacteria B. bifidum. Then mixture is packaged into rigid detachable gelatin capsules followed by their placing into hermetic package and preparing the end product having degree of activity bifidobacterium at the level 2 x 10 8 , not less.
