titleOfInvention Method of extinguishing fire by means of flying vehicle and device for realization of this method
abstract FIELD: aviation fire-fighting equipment; combatting fires in hard-to-at areas, on high structures when delivery of extinguishing from altitude is required. SUBSTANCE: method includes directional delivery of extinguisher to fire area from flying vehicle by means of nozzle and control of direction of flow of liquid. Liquid is delivered in form of two-phase gas-and-drip jet which is obtained through dispersion in gas flow and acceleration on two-phase flow in gas-dynamic nozzle. Accelerated gas-and-drip jet is directed to fire area. Control of gas-and-drip jet is effected through turning the nozzle and/or control of pressure and/or flow rate of liquid and/or gas at nozzle inlet. In the course of operation, complete or partial compensation of disturbing forces acting on free-flowing gas-and-drip jet is effected through selecting the angle-of inclination of jet velocity vector relative to flying vehicle speed vector. Fire-fighting device includes extinguisher reservoir mounted on board of flying vehicle, liquid and gas mixing chamber and gas-dynamic nozzle for delivery of extinguisher to fire area which is connected with reservoir by means of pipe line. Mixing chamber is provided with device for dispersion of liquid. Device is provided with gas-and-drip jet velocity vector, jet flow rate and liquid flow rate control system.
